Costich provided surveying, design and construction services of the shoreline stabilization and park improvements project as a result of funding that the Town received through the Lake Ontario REDI program. Costich worked closely with the town to ensure the design met their desired needs for the park as well as providing protection against future flooding in the event of high Lake Ontario water levels. The design included: alternatives for the sea wall, site grading to raise the park elevation, playground area and boat launch, pedestrian access and circulation improvements (sidewalk, seat wall, water access, parking areas), and landscape design (tree plantings and native plants for bank stabilization). Once the design was completed Costich provided field inspection and oversight with contractor including review of pay estimates.
