Costich entered into the Wireless Telecommunications world in 1988 when cell phones were just emerging in the suitcase and brick phone era. Our Telecommunications Department is a hard working group that has grown from a 2 person operation to a dedicated 9+ person team with the support of the entire firm as needed. We are looking to expand this department in order to take on additional clients and projects. We pride ourselves in providing quality work in a timely manner. This position includes providing design and management of a wide variety of telecommunications projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8 Hour Shift (Day shift – Monday to Friday) with overtime

    • Antenna and Equipment Upgrades
    • Build to Suit
    • Cellular on Wheels, and Cellular on Light Trucks
    • In-Building
    • ODAS
    • Rawland & Co-Location Sites
    • Rooftops, Clock Towers, Silos, Water Tanks
    • Small Cells: 4G/5G Utility Poles
    • Stealth (Pine Trees, Bell Towers, etc.)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Track and report weekly project status to Department Head/Firm President
    • Occasional regional travel (predominantly NY & PA) and overnight stays as required (transportation on your own/rental car option, mileage and reimbursable expenses, overnight per diem)
    • Coordinate internal/external resources and vendors for project execution (structural, etc.)
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
    • Manage CAD Designers and field technicians (1 to 5 persons)
    • Design, redline and review drawings (zoning and construction) – work with Engineers and CAD Designers to deliver final drawings, maintain workflow for design group
    • Understanding of municipal process and permitting, zoning review and interpretation
    • Understanding of clients expectations on schedule, equipment and layout preferences
    • Be able to manage client expectations and communicate effectively to all parties involved

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, strong time management skills with ability to prioritize
    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
    • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
    • Prior telecommunications project management experience preferred
